This artwork is a collaborative exploration of personal identity, digital embodiment, and the fragmented nature of online presence. The piece begins with Aluan’s archive of social media posts, each starting with “我” (“I”)—moments where Aluan’s thoughts delve deeply into the realm of personal perspective. These reflections serve as the foundation of the work, grounding the piece in a narrative that is simultaneously intimate and universal. Yehwan’s contribution is a performative gesture, where she engages her entire body to “feel” herself—tracking the contours of her face with a face-tracking tool. The shapes and shifts of her face become a dynamic medium, emphasizing the fluid and ever-changing relationship between the physical and the digital self. Originally conceived as an interactive website featuring a body tracker and pop-up windows, the project is presented as a recorded video piece. The video captures the layered performance, blending the tactile and digital worlds. Pop-ups emerge like fleeting memories or subconscious thoughts, mirroring the nonlinear, fragmented nature of Aluan’s original text archive.
